Okay, so recycled cell phones aren't going to save the environment on their own. That doesn't stop this new green 'Reclaim' phone from Samsung from being a smart buy, both ecologically and practically. The Reclaim has a 2 megapixel camera with video capture, a sliding QWERTY keyboard, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, GPS, and microSDHC support for up to 32 GB.
On the whole, the Reclaim sounds like a pretty good buy. It's cheap, and it's got the right features to make it a perfect tween texting phone or budget mobile. The fact that it's made from 80% recycled materials only sweetens the deal. If you'd like to pick up a Reclaim, you'll get your chance on August 16 for $49.99 with a 2 year plan. Also, for every mobile you purchase, Samsung will make a $2 donation to The Nature Conservancy's Adopt-An-Acre program.
